Ted is an entrepreneur, attorney and a writer who relishes his role as counselor to fellow entrepreneurs and the investors who support them.

Ted’s driving belief is that entrepreneurs often need more than accomplished attorneys – the excitement and stress of conceiving a new venture demands sound business advice, shared passion, experienced leadership, and the empathy that only a fellow entrepreneur can provide. Ted listens to his clients, partners with them, understanding their business and their dreams. Even after the legal work is done, at the request of his client-friends, he often stays involved with their business, continually counseling the growing ventures.

After graduating from college, Ted began his career as an entrepreneur, starting a political consulting firm that offered such services as campaign management, media creation & purchasing, and general strategy. After three years of advising challengers, incumbents and organizations, he sold his firm’s assets and returned to school.

Ted began his legal career in New York with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, a prominent firm founded in 1863 with sixteen offices in seven countries on three continents. While working in Orrick’s federal securities group, he advised companies and underwriters on the private and public offering of both equity and debt.

Today, in addition to his role at Furnari Scher LLP, Ted serves as Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel for PFF Entertainment, LLP, a New York based venture, and Strategic Advisor to Tango magazine, which he advised during its successful launch. He is also writing a novel.

Ted has been a guest speaker on venture capital and e-commerce at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, was a featured panelist at a New Venture Conference, and has been interviewed on Radio Wall Street and nationally syndicated radio show “Eye on the Internet.”
